National Cannabis Championship: Learn About the Categories

From THC to CBD, this year’s National Cannabis Championship presented by Gentleman Toker has some of the best cultivators in the region competing for the highest honors in 6 cannabis-infused categories.

Starting this month, cultivators and creators of THC and hemp products are delivering samples for testing and judging. Keep reading to learn about the categories and the judges deciding the top honors…

  • THC Flowers Grand Prize (D.C. and Virginia finalists)

  • DC THC Flowers

  • Virginia THC Flowers

  • Hemp Flowers (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington D.C.)

  • Hemp Edibles (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington D.C.)

  • Hemp Topicals (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington D.C.)

You may have noticed that this year, we have a limited number of categories and states allowed to participate. We hope that all state and federal laws event THC submissions from our neighbors in Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and across the United States, but due to restrictive state laws, we are unable to welcome them into the contest at this time.

If you live in Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, or another state that restricts home growing, and you’d like to see that change, please contact your state representatives and let them know that you’d like the right to grow your own cannabis at home.

If growing isn’t your thing, but you know good cannabis products, consider entering the Gentleman Toker’s Community Judge Competition. Mr. Toker will hand-pick 3 cannabis community members to join our judges in experiencing and analyzing the best the region has to offer.

We can’t wait to see you at the National Cannabis Championship on April 24 at Echostage!
