Maurice Morton is Bringing "Mor" Cannabis to the Community
My name is Maurice Morton and I’m a Co-Founder of Mor-Hemp which is based in Virginia. I live in Capitol Heights, Maryland, but I spent the first half of my life living in Northeast D.C. Growing up in the DMV area definitely shaped me as an individual and a businessman.
The people in my community have always set the trends in the region. I’ve been blessed to see it happen from the late 80’s up until now and it amazes me to see how many influential and successful people call this area home. Seeing their accomplishments is a big part of why I grind so hard. I want to add my name to that list of hometown success stories.

There is so much talent in the DMV that doesn’t get recognition. I can’t think of anyone with more knowledge than DC Scroger, master grower and owner of Blue and Yellow Studios, LLC, a multimedia visual and podcasting studio. He’s definitely one of my cannabis heroes!
