Smoke the vote
Weed matters. We matter. Let's make sure our voices are heard!
People often think of midterm and presidential elections when they think Elections, but Elections are actually happening all the time, all over the country.
Our goal is to register as many voters as possible and educate the public on re-enfranchisement laws now through the presidential election on November 3, 2020.
A surprising amount of elections are determined by slim margins, some by just a single vote. Every vote matters, so in 2019 and 2020, let's commit to no more excuses and elect officials who will responsibly advance cannabis legalization and criminal justice reform.

When is Election Day?
Election Day in 2019 is November 5th and November 3 in 2020; however, local elections happen all the time. Check out HeadCount's State & Local Elections resource to stay up to date on elections happening in your area. You can also sign up for local election alerts through HeadCount.
How do I register to vote?
We got you! Head HERE to get your registration on or TEXT VOTER NCF to 40649.
I have a felony, am on parole and/or am on probation, can I vote?
Probably! Don't let misinformation tell you about your voting rights, there are new laws being passed everyday re-instating voting rights for the formerly incarcerated/those on parole/probation. In fact, in Maine and Vermont, even while someone is incarcerated, they can vote. Head here to find out more about voting rights for ex-offenders.
How can I get involved in the WeCannaVote Campaign?
First and for most, make sure you are registered to vote and hit the polls on Election Day! Second, we have prepared an activist tool kit below for you to share information on registering to vote and voting rights with your friends, family and colleagues via social media and email.
