Session Selector: Be a Featured Speaker at NCF

Do you have a great idea for a panel discussion, workshop, training or demonstration at this year’s National Cannabis Festival? Now’s your chance to enter to be an NCF featured speaker and secure your pass (and passes for your co-participants) to this year’s festival!

From now until March 21st, you can enter the Session Selector Contest for your chance to share your knowledge in one of the 6 themed NCF Education Pavilions.

Click here (and scroll all the way down) to access the application form. We’re looking for innovative forward-thinking ideas in the following issue areas:

  • Cannabis and DC Home Rule

  • Cannabis in Food and Beverages

  • Cannabis Culture

  • Protecting Small Business

  • Social Equity and Racial Equity

  • Federal Policy

  • Technology

  • State Policy

  • Workforce Development

  • Patient Access

  • Environmental Impact

  • Natural Medicine and Psychedelics

  • Cultivation/Regenerative Agriculture

Panels, workshops and demos will be selected using 2 factors: votes from our panel of expert judges; and, the number of likes/shares on social media. After the entry period closes, judging will open and last until March 30. Make sure to share your session idea on social media (use the #NCFSessionSelector hashtag) and ask your friends to like and share your post. Winners will be announced in early April via email.

Please Note…

  • NCF’s Session Selector Contest is an opt-in contest designed to amplify the voices in our community

Selected sessions will be scheduled as 30-60 minutes in length depending on the theme, number of participants, session plan, and schedule in the pavilion

  • Sessions should have no more than 4 speakers per discussion/workshop/demo, etc.

  • If your session is selected, all of your speakers will receive complimentary Weekend Early Entry Passes that will give them access to NCF through express lanes on both days of the festival.

  • NCF does not provide travel compensation for speakers so please take that into account when applying/inviting folks to take part
