The 2025 420 Week Event Contest is open! Apply today and have your event featured during NCF’s Official 420 Week taking place from April 20th - April 28th, 2025, at venues around DMV region.
What is 420 Week?
420 Week is NCF’s official celebration of all things cannabis culture, business, advocacy, and more! From talks on drug policy, to comedy and improv performances, to hands-on cultivation workshops, and beyond — 420 Week is an exciting way to take the cannabis conversation to new places and to amplify the people and organizations that do so much to create a sense of community in our region.
What do I win?
Apart from bragging rights and the opportunity to have your program advertised to NCF fans, 420 Week Program Creators also receive a $1,000 stipend to support the execution of the program.
What kind of ideas are we looking for?
The best ideas! We’re looking for unique experiences to invite NCF fans to talk about/think/socialize with others interested in cannabis through workshops, demonstrations, discussions, social events and more.
Please note that all events must take place in DC, Maryland or Virginia and that we give extra consideration to events that do not charge entry fees for attendees. We want to remove financial barriers and make 420 Week accessible to everyone in the community!
How do I apply?
Visit the official 420 Week application page and click on the application link. Be ready to provide contact information and a proposal for your event. The proposal should include the ideal venue, set up (Do you need a stage? Seating? etc), anticipated budget requirements, and program details.
The deadline to apply is March 15, 2024.
