Artist Spotlight: Meet Farrah Flosscett

Since 2018, Farrah has been using her love for our community and boundless positive energy to spin the best tunes, creating the ultimate mood for festival goers. Her cutting edge fashion, talent on the turntables and immaculate vibes have made her an NCF - and DC - favorite. Keep reading to learn more about Farrah and don’t miss her very special set on Saturday, 4/20…

NCF: Where are you from and where do you live now?

Farrah Flosscett: New York born & raised till my college years then straight  DC ever since! I like to say NY raised and grazed me but DC placed me to find ME.  

NCF: Who/what inspired you to start your music career?

FF: My father is actually a DJ too - he just retired a few years ago. Was on our local Oldies radio station and everything. It was always a love in bloom tucked in the back of my head, I just had to come into it on my time. 

NCF: What's your favorite song to enjoy with cannabis and/or for relaxation?

FF: Anything Tame Impala, Masego or N.E.R.D run to the sun!

NCF: If you could invite anyone (the sky's the limit!) to guest perform with you onstage at NCF who would it be and why?

FF: KID CUDI!!!! Hands down. He just touches something very deep for me on how to tap into people feeling things in a different way. He paints real life pictures about processing emotions, but in a way that’s so relatable. His music gives just gives me chills  that float and feel ethereal. 

NCF: Do you have any upcoming projects or shows folks should know about?

FF: I’m doing A LOT of DJ traveling this year! I’ll be out of state and/or the US at least once a every month of 2024….something that’s been a DJ goal of mine for a long time. I have some DJ collabs with SoHo House on the way too….stay tuned!!!
