ADA Access at NCF
The National Cannabis Festival (NCF) is committed to providing a safe and fun festival experience for all of our guests. Keep reading for more information on ADA access at NCF…
Parking and Entering the Festival Grounds
ADA guests are invited to park in Lot 7 "Fields Lot" (ADA handicap permit is required) on the RFK Campuswhere the ADA golf cart shuttle stop is located. Parking for all vehicles on the RFK Campus is $20. With the link below, reserve your parking for Lot 6, and upon arrival, you will be directed to park in Lot 7.
Getting Around Onsite
NCF takes place in a space that is fully paved. To make getting around a bit easier for our ADA guests we’ve planned a system of golf cart shuttles between Lot 7 (ADA Parking and Box Office) and the main gate, and inside the festival grounds with four stops.
If you arrive in Lot 7 and don’t see a cart nearby, please stand by the shuttle stop - one will be there momentarily. If you’re at a shuttle stop on the inside and have not seen a cart in a few minutes you may call Debra ( ADA Lead) 202-660-3572 and a member of our staff will send someone your way.
Please note: Parking lot golf cart shuttles will run from 9am until 10:30pm.
ADA golf cart service begins inside the festival at 11 am and finishes at the end of the day, once all guests have cleared the grounds. To call for a ride inside or outside of the festival, guests can call/ text 202-660-3572
ASL Interpreters in the Pavilions
As in year’s past at NCF each education pavilion will have an ASL interpreter available. There will also be an ASL interpreter for all of the headlining acts on the main stage.
Facilities
ADA guests are welcome to view the main stage concert from the VIP viewing platform.
Inside the festival, ADA accessible porta potties will be available in two locations.
Our medical tents onsite (1 on either end of the festival grounds) will be sensory free, so that if anyone with asthma or other breathing issues needs assistance, they know where to go.ADA guests are welcome to view the main stage concert from the VIP viewing platform.
At the main gate (outside where the lines form) and inside the festival, ADA accessible porta-potties will be available.
Staying Hydrated
We also recommend that you bring a reusable water bottle to refill at one of our free water stations onsite. In addition, there is water available in the Medical Tents (not a free-for-all, but we do have water available if someone is in need) and nearly all of our food trucks will have water for sale.
We can’t wait to see you on April 22nd! If you have questions, please email access@nationalcannabisfestival.com.
