DC favorite El Sol brings chef-driven, full-flavored traditional Mexican dishes & some 60 tequilas in a simple setting.
Stop by during 420 Food Week and try Cochinta Pibil, a new dish being prepared with NCF fans in mind. Cochinta Pibil is a traditional Yucatec Mayan slow-roasted pork dish from the Yucatán Peninsula. Chef Alfredo Solis uses the traditional preparation of the meal, which includes marinating the meat in strongly acidic citrus juice and roasting the meat while it's wrapped in a banana leaf.
