Last Saturday, the NCF Team and the Uni We team met in Richmond, VA, to surprise the 2023 Ultimate Weed Wedding Winners.
After a week of back and forth emails, we convinced Ree and Romany, a couple from Fayetteville, North Carolina, to drive up and meet us in Richmond, VA, for what they thought was the final interview.
We knew from the moment we saw the entry video that Ree and Romany are a special couple, and now we’re excited to share more about them with all of you. Keep reading to learn more about our 2023 Ultimate Weed Wedding Winners!
NCF: Where are you from?
R & R: We are from Fayetteville, North Carolina, which is where we also live together.
NCF: How and when did you meet?
Ree: We actually met on Facebook. I came across her profile and I saw we had mutual friends. I decided to let my fears go and inbox her, and here we are 2 years later.
NCF:What is your favorite thing about your partner?
Ree: My favorite thing about Romany is definitely her personality. Even if we were to break up (which will never happen!) I would still want to be friends with her because she's so sweet and shows genuine love all around.
Romany: My favorite thing about Ree Is how fearless she is. She wears her cape with a big “S” on it and her love for me is unconditional.
NCF:Favorite strains?
R & R: Purple Haze.
NCF: Favorite method of consumption?
R & R: Bong or Backwoods with Raw Papers wrapped around so it burns slower.
NCF:Favorite cannabis memory together?
R & R: Our favorite memory would definitely have to be when we smoked a humongous bong and fell asleep on the porch together :)
NCF:What kind of party vibe will your wedding party bring to NCF?
R & R: We will definitely bring a lit vibe! We are both cancers - our birthdays are 3 days apart - so we are chill and love to have a good time. Our goal is to leave our stamp on the stage with memories to last a life time.
