Honoring Our Heroes: The 2022 NCF Veterans Program

Balanced Veterans at NCF 2021

Military Veterans are an important part of our cannabis community and each year, NCF is thrilled to honor their service by distributing more than 200 complimentary passes for our buds to join us at the festival.

Starting on January 4, 2022, Veterans are invited to register on the NCF website to receive complimentary passes. In addition to the passes, our veteran guests are invited to hang out and network at NCF in a special lounge hosted by Balanced Veterans and Mission Zero.

The Veterans Lounge at NCF serves as a safe space for service members to gather, connect and share their unique experiences.

“…over 80% of (members) supported legalization for medical use. Almost 90% supported researching cannabis for medicinal purposes.”

According to a recent survey conducted by IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, “over 80% of (members) supported legalization for medical use. Almost 90% supported researching cannabis for medicinal purposes.”

“For many of our veteran guests, the opportunity to gather at NCF gives them the chance to meet other like-minded individuals, and to talk openly about using cannabis as medicine.”

Despite this support, the fact remains that many veterans in the United States do not have access to or are afraid of being penalized for using cannabis as an alternative therapy. For many of our veteran guests, the opportunity to gather at NCF gives them the chance to meet other like-minded individuals, and to talk openly about using cannabis as medicine.

We look forward to welcoming our veteran guests back to NCF in 2022. Click here if you’d like to learn more about how you can support veterans getting access to medical cannabis,. If you have questions about our Veterans program, please email talia@nationalcannabisfestival.com.
