Save the Date for the Inaugural National Cannabis Championship

National Cannabis Championship

We’re beyond excited to announce the launch of the inaugural National Cannabis Championship and awards show celebrating and educating the community about good cannabis cultivation.

Starting on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, THC homegrow pros and Hemp aficionados have the opportunity to register to have their best buds go nug to nug with growers from all over the mid-Atlantic region.

Entries are subject to rigorous testing and judging rounds with the finalists coming together for an epic awards show and party on Sunday April 24, 2022 (the day after NCF) at Echostage in Washington, D.C.

Through NCC, we hope to accomplish three goals:

  • Highlight east coast cannabis & hemp cultivators

  • Educate the community about cannabis consumer safety and best growing practices

  • Prepare cannabis enthusiasts and patients with information to advocate for legal home grow in states that still carry restrictions

Most of all, we want to celebrate great cannabis!

We know you probably have a lot of questions right now (like…What are the categories? Who are the judges? Where do you have to reside to be eligible to take part? And so many more!). On November 30, 2021, we’ll release a comprehensive entry guide with all of the rules, instructions, and details you need to prepare your cannabis and hemp samples. We’ll also introduce you to the NCC Coordinator and share information about our judges and the awards show.

Don’t worry, you have some time to get ready. The deadline to submit your cannabis or hemp entry is Sunday, March 20, 2022. You’ll have the chance to register and save your place in the competition starting on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

If you want to be among the first to register and to meet the NCC Coordinating team, email ncc@nationalcannabisfestival.com, and we’ll add you to the waiting list.

Make sure to sign up for our newsletter and follow NCC on Instagram and to receive all NCC news and announcements. Happy growing!
