NCF and DC Brau Brewing Company Launch “Legalize it! Lager”

This year, we have something extra-special waiting for attendees at the Cottonmouth Bar at NCF. To mark the 5 year anniversary of the festival, we’re partnering with our brewery buds from DC Brau Brewing Company to release “Legalize it! Lager”.

The beer will be available starting Sunday, August 22nd, at DC Brau’s Dock Days of Summer Concert Series featuring the Black River Muddy Band. The day starts at 1pm with a discussion  titled, “Hemp & Hops: The Future of Cannabis and Beverages,” featuring Kathryn Rust of Remedy Dispensary and Jeff Hancock of DC Brau. Between the talk and the performance, join us for an exclusive advance tasting of the special label, Legalize it!  Lager and DC Brau’s Terpene Rainbow IPA.

 “We're very excited to partner with the National Cannabis Festival to supply beer to the festival and host an advanced special release event,” said Brandon Skall and Jeff Hancock, co-founders of DC Brau Brewing Company. “We welcome the opportunity to introduce cannabis enthusiasts to our brews while also supporting the larger mission to de-stigmatize and de-criminalize the use of cannabis.”

 If you can’t make it to DC Brau on August 22, Brewmaster Jeff Hancock will also serve as a panelist at NCF during a discussion titled, “Coffee, Cake & Beer: Infusing Food and Drinks” in the Culture Pavilion at the festival.

 The Dock Days of Summer Series and Legalize it! Lager Launch is scheduled from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM at DC Brau Brewery Company, 3178-B Bladensburg Rd. NE. Attendance for this event is free and open to the public. Click here to register.
