NCF has always been FTC (for the culture) and this year’s Curaleaf Culture Pavilion is certainly one for the books. Feed your head with seven panels that are guaranteed to get you thinking, laughing, and dare we say even a little bit...stimulated (yes, Sex & Cannabis, we’re looking at you).

Culture panels this year address some of the most important aspects of life surrounding cannabis consumers:

  • In the early afternoon, you can expect to find discussions on pot and parenting, with a specific focus on family wellness.

  • If you’re looking for some laughs, check out the National Cannabis Comedy Show, created for stoners by stoners.

  • Get your edible education from some of the leading experts on the future of consumable cannabis and join local brewers, roasters, and bakers for a talk on infused foods.

  • A festival that prides itself on our community and investment in social justice, NCF would not be complete without a panel on Queers & Cannabis. We’re so excited for this year’s discussion, which includes standout speakers Queen Adesuyi, Tamika L. Spellman, and Camille Tindal talking about the role of gay, queer, and trans people in the cannabis community.

  • Stick around to get a little bit down and dirty with the Sex & Cannabis panel, a candid discussion on the relationship between pot and pleasure. We can’t think of anything better!

The day closes with a panel spearheaded by Cruel Consequences, an organization dedicated to sharing stories and leading discussions about the importance of cannabis justice and policy reform. This panel underscores the human costs of marijuana criminalization and how the cannabis industry can help to right these wrongs.

This year’s Curaleaf Culture Pavilion program pulls from some of the most exciting elements of understanding the role that cannabis plays in our everyday lives, from our families and professions to sex and activism. If you’re interested in all things canna-culture, these are panels you won’t want to miss.
