The Dazed & Amused Movie Experience: Know Before You Go
We can’t wait to see you at the NCF Movie Experience on Saturday, April 17th. We have a fun-filled pre-party planned for all of our best buds, including: a live set from DJ Footwerk; cannabis trivia hosted by Blunt Factz; buttery CBD Popcorn from Pink Fox; refreshing CBD Mocktails from Takoma Wellness Center; delicious munchies from Dogs on the Curb, Soultarian, and DC Ben and Jerry’s; prizes, giveaways, and more!
After the Byrdland Records pre-party, get ready for our features films: How High presented by Synergy and Serenity and The Big Lebowski presented by Pink Fox. Keep reading for the full program and important details to help you have a great night:
Arrival:

Weed recommend arriving early. Gates for the 8pm movie open at 7pm (Lot 5 opens at 6:30pm for vehicles to line up for entry). Gates for the 11pm movie open at 10pm. General Admission parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. VIP guests have reserved spaces, but we encourage you to arrive early as well so you don’t miss the pre-party and can get your food orders in.

The RFK Campus is located at 2400 East Capitol Street, NE. All ticket holders are invited to enter the RFK Campus via Lot 5, located on South side of the Stadium on Independence Avenue (please see the maps below).

When you arrive U Street Parking staff will direct you to a line to have your ticket scanned. Please have your ticket ready - either printed out or visible on your cell phone - so the scanners can check you in.

Once you’ve been checked in, you’ll be directed to the movie grounds in Lot 8. On your way, the Beyond/Hello greeters will hand you a Cannaline Welcome Bag (1 per vehicle).

VIP guests - you will receive a welcome bag from the Beyond/Hello greeters. Once you are parked, the Anacostia Organics Carhops will deliver your Cannabliss VIP Hotbox to your vehicle.

Make sure you take note of your parking space number (located on the ground in your parking space). You’ll need it to order your food and drinks!

Double-header ticket holders are invited to stay in the lot during the short changeover between shows. The party starts again at 10pm!
Tuning In
Once you’re parked, check out the instructions on the screen so you can tune in to the correct FM station to be able to hear the program.
Ordering Munchies
In your Cannaline Welcome Bag and on the screen, you’ll find instructions for ordering food using the event app. First, make sure to take note of your parking space number. That’s what you’ll use to place your order in the event app. All food orders must go through the event app and will be delivered to your vehicle by one of the Anacostia Organics Carhops. Vendors are open to take food and beverage orders starting at 7pm for the first show and 10pm for the second show. “Last call” is at 9:20pm for the first show and 12:30am for the second show.

FAQs
How can I buy tickets?
All tickets are pre-sold online only and are scanned by an event staff, through the window of the vehicle. Prices start at $45 per vehicle for early-bird general admission (no passenger limit).

General Admission ticket holders receive a Drive-In “Welcome” bag upon arrival. Each ticket provides a 15ft X 20ft parking space (No oversized vehicles, buses, campers, RVs, limousines are permitted) Groups should plan to arrive together, to park side by side.

Hotbox VIP ticket holders receive a Drive-In “Welcome” bag upon arrival, a VIP Swag Hotbox and premium parking in a 15ft x 20ft parking space (No oversized vehicles, buses, campers, RVs, limousines are permitted) Groups should plan to arrive together, to park side by side.
Do you open if it’s raining?
Yes, all events will go on rain or shine, UNLESS an emergency weather advisory is issued.

Can I buy a Double Features or Back to Back shows ?
Weed love for you to join us for 2 shows! You can purchase back to back shows (double feature) and hang out in the lot with our live DJ for the hour between shows.
What are the best directions to the Dazed & Amused Drive-In Party?
Entry gate for Dazed & Amused will be located at RFK Stadium Lot 5 2408 Independence Ave SE, Washington, DC 20003. As you are approaching the front of RFK Stadium around 22nd St. NE or Independence Ave., begin to look for Dazed & Amused signage on the left hand side along with the Lot 5 Entry Gate.
Can I get out of my car during the show?
NO, attendees must remain in their designated 15’x20’ parking space, and can not sit on hood or roof. You can leave your designated space for restroom visits. Attendees MUST wear a face mask when outside of their vehicle and during travel to and from the restrooms. Guests are required to maintain a social distance of no less than six feet in every direction. Please maintain social distancing while in line for restroom facilities.
Note: Security will enforce a strict “NO GATHERING” policy on the grounds.
How do I hear the movie? Or hearing impaired
Using your car radio, please turn to the posted FM or AM radio station which will be shared with you upon entry. The movie or show sound will come through your car speakers. Unfortunately at this time we do not have a closed captioning technology for hearing impaired attendees.
Note: Radio apps do not work because we do not stream our sound over the internet. Use your vehicle’s radio, but check your owner’s manual so you can safely play your vehicle’s radio without draining its battery.
Can I arrive after the movie has started? What time should I arrive?
Yes, you are welcome to arrive anytime; however, your viewing location will most likely be in the back. We suggest you arrive at least 30 minutes before your showtime for best location.
Will there be food and drinks sold?
Food and non-alcoholic drinks (CBD Mocktails!) will be sold using a dedicated event app. Your order will be delivered by one of our car hops. What’s on the menu? We’ll have something for everyone!
If I have a pickup truck or SUV, can I park backwards and sit in the back to watch the movies?
Yes, HOWEVER, please keep in mind other cars line of sight. So, if opening the hatch is higher than the top clearance of your vehicle, you may be asked to lower the hatch out of courtesy to other moviegoers. Please also remember that you need to stay within the boundaries of your vehicle unless going to the restroom.
What happens if my car battery dies?
We can help! Please see one of our staff members. Once we get your vehicle started, you cannot run your engine to charge your battery. Carbon monoxide is poison. You will have to EXIT the theater. (Fees may apply)
Do you accept cash?
Everything is sold online. The venue is 100% cashless.
Are pets welcome?
We love pets, but Service Pets ONLY.
Did you know about the DC Car Idle Law?
DC Government implemented a law to reduce vehicle emissions. With a few exceptions, motor vehicles powered by gasoline or diesel are not allowed to idle for more than three minutes while the vehicle is parked, stopped or standing. Please be mindful during the movie and do not idle your engine.
I’m going with a group of buds, can we park next to each other?
Yes; however, if you wish to park next to another car from your party, you must plan to arrive together. Parking spots will be assigned on a first come first serve basis, with no option to reserve a spot for another vehicle running late. Please follow the directions of event staff at all times.
Do I need to wear my face masks?
When outside of your vehicle, we ask that you wear face masks. During travel to and from the restrooms, guests are REQUIRED to wear face masks and maintain a social distance of no less than six feet in every direction while in line. Restroom facilities will maintain social distance protocols.
I have an emergency. Can I leave in the middle of a movie / show?
Yes, you may leave at anytime.
How are we keeping restrooms clean and healthy? How many restrooms will be available?
Portable toilets will be available on-site with strict guidelines to ensure safety and cleanliness. Gloves and hand sanitizer will be available for use. Restrooms will be cleaned after each use.
Refund & Rain-Out Policy
Refunds available via Universe Tickets up to 3 days before the selected show.
If an event is rained out, cancelled or postponed we will offer exchanges for a future program.
