Americans for Safe Access: "End Pain, Not Lives" Campaign
Americans for Safe Access' Jan. 25 event is a networking event/fundraiser for their "End Pain, Not Lives" national campaign. The campaign goal is to raise awareness of cannabis as a safe alternative to opioid use . Right now, more than 115 people die every day due to opioid use, including prescription opioids. This fundraiser and networking event is to raise awareness about cannabis as a safe alternative to prescription opioids.
"End Pain, Not Lives" campaign goals include:
Passing federal and state laws to allow for safe, legal, and affordable access to cannabis,
Educating elected officials and the general public about cannabis as a safe alternative to prescription opioids, and
Funding additional cannabis research
ASA is holding a networking event on Jan. 25 to raise funds and awareness, so that they can continue to carryout their campaign goals in 2019.
Americans for Safe Access had a hand in the adoption of medical cannabis laws/programs across 47 states, DC, Guam, and Puerto Rico, and we're currently working to make medical cannabis legal at the federal level. But, we cannot do this without your support! So, join us for this fun networking event/fundraiser on Friday, Jan. 25, and feel free to invite your friends and colleagues!
